The musical Amélie is based on the 2001 French film of the same name. The musical tells the story of Amélie Poulain, a shy and imaginative Parisian woman who decides to secretly perform acts of kindness for the people around her. The musical features a captivating score while following Amélie as she discovers the power of human connection and learns to open herself up to love and friendship. It delves into Amélie’s vivid inner life and fantasies, her relationship with her father and her blossoming romance with a quirky man named Nino.
